High-quality connector housings and connection sleeves for PowerPole connectors from AccuPower.
APCH – AccuPower Connection Housing (connector housing)
The project consisted of the development and production of various connector systems, the integration of the PowerPole connector into a robust and visually appealing housing.
The particular challenge was to develop different connector systems/housings that effectively cover the PowerPole connector, provide the correct polarity, and ensure the necessary safety, especially during transport of the batteries. With our well-designed connector housing, we can protect the PowerPole connector safely and robustly for your application.
We have also considered the appropriate connection sleeves (to clearly indicate the direction of the connector) and clean storage (dust cover cap) and have optimally implemented this in the development. For installation situations, i.e. integration of the connector into your product, we have developed our APCH (AccuPower Connection Housing) 2FMPI (2 Female Mounting on Pipe) + 2FMPS (2 Female Mounting on Surface).
Research focus
Our goal was to develop robust, visually appealing, and above all, safe connector housings for the high demands of the industry, which are optimally tailored to the PowerPole connectors. It was important for us to design the connector housings to remain compact.
We focused on the universal application area in the development, as the already developed APCH-2FMPI + APCH 2FMPS (explanations from above) are suitable for straight surfaces as well as for mounting on a pipe in a special case. Thus, the research focus was especially on the integration of our connector housings into already existing systems to minimize additional costs for the industry and to remain compatible.
Our solution
We developed our connectors to fit 2 PowerPole connectors PP 15/30/45 in various configurations with high mechanical strength, cable strain relief, and ideal suitability for cable attachment or mounting on flat surfaces.
The AccuPower connector housings and connection sleeves have high resistance to high and low temperatures, are heat-resistant, and have high dimensional stability.
