High-quality LiFePO4 battery systems for universal applications including the corresponding charging technology.
The project consisted of the development and production of various LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery systems. Due to the worldwide shortage of materials by Corona, we converted some systems to LiFePO4 through our fast-acting development department.
Features and benefits of AccuPower Lithium Iron Phosphate technology:
LiFePO4 technology has similar behaviour to lithium ion technology but is much safer. The discharge curve of the LiFePo4 battery is flat, which means that the consumer works with constant power almost up to the final discharge voltage.
- High safety
Due to the cell chemistry, LiFePO4 cells are considered intrinsically safe, i.e. they are safer and will not burn or explode if damaged. - High cycle stability
More than 2000 cycles are possible depending on the application. Much longer lifetime than lithium-ion batteries or lead-acid batteries. - Environmentally friendly
Better environmental compatibility and conservation of resources due to the absence of cobalt. Contain no toxic heavy metals and LiFePO4 batteries are 100% recyclable. - Temperature resistant
In general, LiFePO4 cells are insensitive to lower and also higher temperatures. - Higher efficiency
LiFePO4 have a stable discharge behaviour and a higher efficiency both when charging and discharging.
Research focus
Our goal was to develop an optimised LiFePO4 battery solution for the various applications of our customers.
We paid special attention to full compatibility with the existing lithium-ion system and to the selection of the high-quality LiFePO4 cells we tested for this purpose.
With our LiFePO4 systems, you can replace lithium-ion batteries as well as heavy lead-gel batteries and other energy storage devices.
Our Solution
The rechargeable lithium iron phosphate LiFePO4 systems with specially developed protection electronics built into the batteries with individual cell monitoring for protection against over- or deep discharge, short-circuit and overtemperature are designed with cable and plug and also optionally with an integrated communication interface for reading battery data.
The battery was designed, developed and certified by us from prototype to series production with all the necessary safety functions to optimally meet the defined use of the customer.
In addition, we have also developed chargers specifically for LiFePO4 systems.
We are experts in battery and charging technology with over 20 years of experience in this field.
