Battery pack in aluminum case for security & support application
The project consisted of the development and production of a battery system integrated in a robust aluminium housing so that it remains particularly mobile according to customer-specific specifications with all certifications including UN38.3 testing as well as the necessary safety for applications of support & safety applications
The particular challenge was to develop a battery for indoor and outdoor use that meets the customer’s high requirements and is very robust yet remains mobile for use.
Also, the well-designed optional battery base, wherein the battery can be easily attached by the fitting rails and by the four-regulation mechanism of the handle from the battery pack. The base is optimal for the flexible integration of your battery pack into any system.
Focus of research
Our goal was to develop the complete battery design, protection electronics and interface in-house to provide all the necessary safety features for use as specified by the customer in the application. A special focus was the integration of the interface on the protection electronics with the respective readout options defined by the customer
Our solution
The AP10S9P is designed with the highest quality and most advanced safety standards. The specially developed electronics built into the battery protects the battery from overcharging, deep discharge, short circuit and is equipped with monitoring of the individual cells as well as the temperature.
The AP10S9P is built into a robust yet lightweight aluminium housing and is particularly characterised by its universal application possibilities, its high energy density as well as its low self-discharge and its long service life .
It is designed with a high-quality power pole plug as well as interface and can be stably attached to the battery base via a fitting rail system and a locking mechanism on the handle .
